In Metamora, Indiana, there is a place called the Museum of Oddities. It may or may not still be open. The museum has been described as “old school roadside kitsch attractions.” The owner says of the collection, “It is not an attempt to convince anyone to believe in anything, but to explain the structure of ideas built by man in the past and in which man continues to build today.” Next to the Museum of Oddities is a small building called The Cross, part of the museum’s collection. It feels like a part of a Catholic church. This photo is of one of the main attractions in The Cross.
